I love the culture here! Really great space with people who really care about coffee. Great (free) wifi - perfect space for freelancers or digital entrepreneurs to work! Loved the backs on the bar seats, so I could sit in the window and work with a view.

Now, to the coffee - I had 2 cappuccinos - equally as beautiful as they were delicious. I would (and plan to) go back here in a heartbeat!

Great place for a quick delicious coffee !

Always very busy in the Hove station one so tricky to find a seat sometimes but they also have seating outside.

Had a 'jammy roger' small batches version if a jammy dodger. Good biscuit with nice homemade raspberry jam.

Went for the black filter coffee which has nice depth of flavour and comes served on a cute wooden board. I also love the mug.

I love Small Batch Coffee, I really do.

Whenever I'm heading up to London on the train, I always make a point of either going to small batch on Goldstone Villas, or the little shack they have set up outside the train station if it's open.

I absolutely love the coffee there. My Local Small Batch is actually on Church Road in Hove, and it's always busy inside which of course is a good sign.

The staff are really nice, and really knowledgeable about the different types of coffee they sell, and are happy to make any recommendations. I think it's probably since Small Batch opened that my penchant for coffee has increased!

The popularity of Small Batch has clearly increased over the years as they seem to have coffee shops popping up everywhere in Brighton and Hove. I am far happier to spend my money there than in somewhere like Costa Coffee.

Everyone should support this great local business!

I could use a coffee right now.

I like Small Batch, but I don't love it.

    They make a good latte.

    I am common though.

I like mixing up my coffees unashamedly with syrups.

    Small Batch don't do syrups.

I appreciate I have been Americanised.

Small Batch also don't do LARGE coffees.

They also serve their coffees at a temperature that is suboptimal for my enjoyment.

I also don't find their shops particularly comfortable.

This makes it sound like Small Batch is bad.

    It isn't.

But give their coffee a try before a commute.

Or on your way to work one day.

    You'll enjoy it more.

Providing you don't like hot, massive and sugary coffees.

    Like me.

You can tell its going to be special when you see the outside.- Wait till you get in. The decor is sublime. It was full when we got in but managed to get a table. The custard tarts had real vanilla in them. The coffee and tea tasty. Brilliant place. Wish they were up in Leeds.
